Katherine is a NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed in Connecticut and Rhode Island.Prior to becoming a COTA/L, Katherine began her healthcare career in 2013 as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing facility, giving her over a decade of experience in the medical field. Katherine has 6 years of experience providing occupational therapy services to the pediatric population.She has worked with children ages 2-21 with a wide range of diagnoses across outpatient, in-home, and teletherapy settings. Katherine is dedicated to helping children build confidence and independence through individualized, play-based interventions. Her professional interests include Autism, ADHD, sensory processing, self-regulation, emotional regulation, and helping children develop the skills needed for success in their daily lives. As a bilingual clinician fluent in both English and Spanish, she strives to provide family-centered care that is accessible and supportive for diverse families. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, crafting, playing musical instruments, and spending time with her fiancé and family.
